I SPY A TREND | ANKLE BOOTS
Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Shoes are something that I feel are so important to an outfit, it can dress it up or down and also completely change your outfits into totally different ones. Over the past couple months I have noticed that people have been rocking ankle boots with all different prints, shapes and colours with pretty much anything.
Although ankle boots may not be the comfiest pair of shoes out there, it is one of the few shoes that always makes you seem poised and put together even if your much like the opposite, much like me most of the time. They are a simple enough "accessory", that you can literally "throw on" and head out the door.
Even though these shoes do go up to around your ankles you don't always have to tuck them into a pair of skinny jeans. They also pair beautifully with flared jeans, skirts and dresses. So maybe this month a pair of ankle boots will replace your chic sneakers.
