MY TOP 5 RESTAURANTS IN VANCOUVER

#1 Ask for Luigi

Italian restaurant

$$

305 Alexander St, Vancouver

This is one of my newest favourite restaurants here in Vancouver. Ask for Luigi's atmosphere, from the moment you walk in, is very welcoming and homey. It almost reminded me of a giant Italian family reunion. Their pasta is absolutely amazing and is made from scratch every single day, and depending on where you are sitting in the restaurant sometimes you can actually see the pasta being made and rolled out.

#2 Meat & Bread

Sandwich shop

$

370 Cambie St, Vancouver

I would describe Meat & Bread as the perfect spot if you want to get something quick, simple, fresh and easy - fills you up and where you are getting your moneys worth. All their ingredients are so fresh and the sandwiches are prepared right in front of you, so you can see everything that they are putting into your food. Besides sandwiches, they also sell house made salads and soups.

#3 Cacao 70

French brunch and desserts

$$

1047 Denman St, Vancouver

Their website perfectly describe their restaurant and food. "Cacao 70 is a unique place for relaxing and sharing. it’s a perfect place to drop by after a hectic day at school or work and to enjoy some of our amazing products. we also have a fantastic brunch menu worth getting out of bed for". So this is definitely the place if your looking to treat yourself to heavenly tasting desserts.

#4 MeeT in Gastown

Vegetarian Restaurant

$

4288 Main St, Vancouver

When I first came across MeeT I was very skeptical of how "good" the food actually was going to be since I am not a Vegan nor a Vegetarian and sometimes food isn't as good as they all say it is. However, ever since the first time I tried their food it has never disappointed my tasting palette. They are so creative in the way they present their food and make it meat eater friendly. I would highly recommend trying MeeT in Gastown.

#5 Japadog

Japanese fusion

$

530 Robson St, Vancouver

Now Japadog isn't everybody's favourite thing as it takes classic Japanese ingredients and puts them onto a hot dog, offering over a dozen Japanese-style dogs. They even put a Japanese twist to their french fries that you can order with your hot dog to make it a meal or as a side snack. This is definitely a grab and go type of food, and perfect if you kind of want something unhealthy.

Until next time,
